The Northern Loop will be closed at the turning circle from 05.00 am on Saturday 15 October until 05.00 am on Sunday 16 October 2022.

 will be closed to incoming traffic for event egress from 2.30 pm until 5.00 pm on Saturday 15 October 2022.

Limited metered parking is available on Mrs Macquarie’s Road and in The Domain carpark.

We recommend using public transport if you are traveling during the event.

Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre is celebrating its 15 year anniversary this month!

The 50m pool has re-opened (Sunday 9 July) 

Extensive maintenance works will begin in May 2024 after the pool is closed for the cooler months. 

We expect to re-open the upgraded pool in September 2025.

Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool operates seasonally and closes from 1 May to 31 August every year.

The pool will re-open as normal on Saturday 25 March. 

Due to urgent maintenance, the 50m pool at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool will be closed on Friday 24 March.

 The learn to swim and squad programs will not run, and group fitness will run on a limited timetable.  

Alternate operating hours will be in place for the public holiday on Friday 26 January.

High temperatures are forecast on Saturday 9 December during our scheduled open day, and high demand for access to our facilities is to be expected.
